Apple Slices with Peanut Butter Dip - A Crunchy, Creamy Snack

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 crisp apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (natural or regular)
  • 3–4 tablespoons Greek yogurt (plain; vanilla works if you want it sweeter)
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional but nice)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for the apples)
  • Pinch of salt (optional; balances sweetness)

Method

  1. Prep the apples: Wash and dry the apples. Core and slice into thin wedges. Toss with lemon juice to slow browning and add brightness.
  2. Mix the dip base: In a bowl, stir peanut butter and Greek yogurt until smooth. If it’s too thick, add a teaspoon of water or milk at a time.
  3. Sweeten and flavor: Add honey or maple syrup, vanilla, a pinch of cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of salt if you like. Taste and adjust for sweetness and texture.
  4. Serve: Arrange apple slices on a plate and add the dip in a small bowl. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top for a finishing touch if desired.
  5. Optional add-ins: Drizzle with extra honey, add mini chocolate chips, or top with chopped peanuts for crunch.
